Finaly I proud give you 3 looks of my Sam’s Secret Black Swan LAVA Dress launched during Passions of Black Swan Fashion Show (September/15th)!

First time I visited Black Swan, back 2 or 3 months ago, the prisoner angel made me cry… I felt absolutly anxious when I saw his suffering. How could someone with wings be unable to fly? So I flew for him… and I found the lady in the wind. I was there, watching her when her stoned skin becamed a sweet skin, and her stoned clothes becamed transparent fabric flying in the wind… I smiled relieved. Both of them have passion for freedon!! And so do I!  Passion for freedon was my inspiration to desing this dress! And as far as I’m a red addicted, it was impossible to me to avoid the lava shades…

~~~~~~~~~~~~ Concept Behind the Dress ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

During the creationg process of this dress, with passion for freedon as the main foundation, I was commited with the idea to offer several options of my dress for my customers. Isn’t it an important aspect of freedon? To have options?

After my inspirational and passionate visit to Black Swan just before to start to design this dress, I was asking myself:  Could it be possible lava fall in love with feathers? How could the delicate feather to live together with the intense and devastating lava?

“Sam’s Secret Black Swan LAVA Dress” is just one of the answers… actualy there are material to design an entire collection to be able to answer that !

Instead of feathers, I decided to use lava as the main element of my dress. A lava path starts on the top of the Fashion Top, and take its curve way sliding down till the right leg, throught a sequined ribbon.
The sequin represents the lava vitality, and the sheer  lace represents the fragile feathers. All hand draw, of course… by the way, the sequin were sewed one by one…

For sure it is possible the lava to fall in love with feathers… what is impossible, is to avoid the consequences of this passion…

To represent the passion transformation, and the consequences of this passion… I created 3 different looks for this dress.

The first one, the main look, shows the long dress version. But… as soon as the lava starts its passion way down, it starts to warm up the feathers, some of them just burn, and some others fly… affecting the fashion top, the skirt and the glove…  some of them becaming feather lace… and becaming the second look: it shows  the mediun dress version.  This second look has a second skirt, as an option, with “wind” FXs

And finaly, at the end… just the essence of the lava and some feathers can finaly live together…  The third look, shows the short dress version.
